La Nota Latina Celebrates Culture through Literature

Este año, la revista digital La Nota Latina, desde la ciudad de Miami, FL, invita a todos los hispanohablantes que viven en los Estados Unidos a participar en el 5to concurso literario Cuéntale tu Cuento a La Nota Latina. El certamen celebra las costumbres y tradiciones de los países donde se habla español.

La empresa Ford otorgará una mención especial a un cuento ganador que trate sobre el medio ambiente, mientras que la organización AARP ofrecerá el premio “Cuenta sin Cuenta (50)” por la mejor historia sobre la herencia infundada por personajes de más de cincuenta años. Además, este año el concurso vuelve a ser patrocinado por la Hispanic Heritage Literature Organization (www.milibrohispano.org), los automercados Sedano’s (www.sedanos.com), la Oficina de Turismo de la República Dominicana en Miami (www.godominicanrepublic.com), Humboldt International University (www.hiuniversity.com), Altamira Libros (www.altamiralibros.com) y el apoyo institucional de la Alfonso CHICO Carrasquel Foundation Award con la videografía (www.accfa.org).

Los participantes tienen hasta el 8 de septiembre del 2018 para enviar sus cuentos. Para más información sobre las bases del concurso, deben visitar www.lanota-latina.com. Once again, the Miami-based digital magazine La Nota Latina invites all Spanish speakers living in the United States to participate in the 5th literary contest Cuéntale tu Cuento a La Nota Latina. The main goal is to celebrate the customs and traditions of those countries where Spanish is a national language.
The Ford company will give a special prize to a winning story that covers topics related to the environment. AARP will offer the “Cuenta sin Cuenta (50)” prize for the best story about personalities who are over fifty years of age and their legacy. In addition, this year the contest is again sponsored by the Hispanic Heritage Literature Organization (www.milibrohispano.org), the Sedano’s supermarkets (www.sedanos.com), the Office of Tourism of the Dominican Republic in Miami (www.godominicanrepublic.com), Humboldt International University (www.hiuniversity.com), Altamira Books (www.altamiralibros.com) and the institutional support with video editing of the Alfonso CHICO Carrasquel Foundation Award (www.accfa.org).
