Paris, Sep 18 (EFE).- The large-scale installation by late artist Christo that has seen Paris’ Arc de Triomphe wrapped in recyclable metallic grey fabric, was opened to the public on Saturday.
Christo’s nephew Vladimir Yavacheff attended the opening of the L’Arc de Triomphe, Wrapped, a posthumous project in honor of his uncle, who died aged 84 last year
The national monument has been covered with 25,000 square meters of recyclable polypropylene, with 3,000 meters of red rope.
The spectacle will run until October 3. EFE
