Lewandowski says time at Bayern has come ‘to an end’

Warsaw, May 30 (EFE).- Polish footballer Robert Lewandowski on Monday said his time with Bayern Munich had come to an end.

The striker, who has been with the German champions since 2014, told a press conference at Poland’s training center that he might be able to share more about his future plans in mid-June.

“For today, one thing is certain. My adventure with Bayern came to an end,” he said.

“I do realize that at this point the transfer would be beneficial for both parties. I believe that Bayern will not stop me just only because it can. This is all I can say for now,” he told reporters at the center where Poland are gearing up for the Uefa Nations League.

Media reports in recent weeks have suggested that Lewandowski could move to FC Barcelona.

With Bayern, the Poland captain has won eight Bundesliga titles and a Champions League.EFE
