Local Community Leader Opens New Facility In Orange Mound

MEMPHIS, TN (LPL/Localmemphis.com) — Un nuevo centro de recursos abrió sus puertas para ayudar a los más necesitados en la comunidad de Memphis.

Charity’s House en Orange Mound celebró su gran apertura el sábado.

El centro fue creado para brindar a las personas acceso a servicios legales, manutención de niños y servicios de consejería sobre abuso doméstico y de sustancias.

El empresario y líder de la comunidad Fred Davis construyó Charity’s House al otro lado de la calle de Beulah Baptist.

“Este es mi regalo para esta comunidad. Espero que podamos utilizar esta instalación para elevar a las personas en esta área “, dijo el fundador Fred Davis.

El centro recibe su nombre en honor a la difunta madre de Davis.

MEMPHIS, TN (localmemphis.com) — A new resource center is now open to help the disenfranchised in the Memphis community.

Charity’s House in Orange Mound held its grand opening Saturday.

The facility was created to give people access to legal services, child support, and domestic and substance abuse counseling services.

Businessman and community leader Fred Davis built Charity’s House across the street from Beulah Baptist.

“This is my gift to this community. I hope we can use this facility to uplift the people in this area,” said founder Fred Davis.

The center is named in honor of Davis’ late mother.
