Life in India amid coronavirus lockdown

Amid a nationwide lockdown in India to stop the spread of Covid-19, many of those who walk the streets or work the fields cover their mouths and noses to protect themselves from the deadly virus.

The country’s initial 21-day lockdown was extended until 3 May.
