Liverpool sign Fulham’s Fabio Carvalho

London, May 23 (EFE).- Liverpool have signed Fulham’s Fabio Carvalho, the Reds announced on Monday.

“The 19-year-old forward will officially complete a switch to the Reds on July 1,” the Premier League club said in a statement.

The Reds had tried to sign the Portuguese in the winter transfer window, but were unable to complete deal before the end of January.

The attacking midfielder came through the youth ranks at Fulham and helped them earn promotion to Premier League next season, bagging 10 goals and eight assists as the Cottagers ran away with the Championship title.

Despite playing for England at youth level, Lisbon-born Carvalho made his debut with Portugal’s U21 in March. EFE
