The Al Hawamdeh family lives in the West Bank village of Yatta, about 50 kilometers south of Hebron, next to the separation barrier. They make their living from raising animals and basic agriculture, the harvest they sell in Hebron.
According to the elderly people from the family, they have been living in this area for 200-300 years, and they are not allowed by the Israeli army to build houses.
