En fin, es una época para celebrar con amigos y familiares.

2019 Silky O’Sullivan’s 46th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Beale

Es el 46to Desfile Anual del Día de San Patricio de Silky O’Sullivan en Beale Street. 2019 Memphis in May Beale Street Music Festival

El Festival Musical de Beale Street atrae cada año a miles de personas provenientes de todas partes del mundo. “Celebrate Memphis” es un evento que estará reemplazando al de 901Fest este año por ser el bicentenario de Memphis. De la misma manera, será un festival enfocado únicamente en destacar la cultura y el patrimonio de la ciudad. Incluye la presentación de artistas locales en múltiples escenarios, además de comerciantes locales, comida y bebidas locales y mucho más.

2019 Great American River Run Half Marathon & 5K

El “Great American River Run Half Marathon & 5K”, por su lado, será realizado el 25 de mayo también. Los amantes del deporte tendrán la oportunidad de correr en el nuevo maratón de 5 kilómetros o en el medio maratón. Las inscripciones cuestan $30 o más por persona para el 5K y $65 o más para el Half Marathon.

2019 Silky O’Sullivan’s 45th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Beale

2019 Mid-South Food Truck Festival at Liberty Bowl Stadium

Local and regional trucks will be competing for the People’s Choice Crown. Open to the public with ticket admission. Every food truck will offer a $5 sample as well as a full menu. Also, the DeAngelo Williams Foundation Thrown for a Cure Cornhole Tournament will be taking place for the third year in a row. Preregister to play in this great tournament for a great cause. Music, food, games and craft vendors will all be on display all day.

Shelby Farms’ Down to Earth Festival is the largest Earth Day celebration in the Mid-South with eco-friendly vendors, art & crafts, live music and more, benefiting Shelby Farms Park Conservancy. The festival looks to educate the community about the current environmental problems that the world is facing, in order to create awareness. The 27th Annual Rajun Cajun Crawfish Festival benefits Porter-Leath. It will be an event with over 18,000 pounds of crawfish, live music, vendors, drinks, art, and more.

2019 Memphis in May Beale Street Music Festival

The Beale Street Music Festival attracts thousands of people from all over the world every year. In fact, the festival has attracted more than 1.1 million music lovers over the last decade to the famous three-day event, best known for its great mix of contemporary rock, blues, soul, pop, and country, among other rhythms.

When: May 3-5

Where: Tom Lee Park (Downtown Memphis)

2019 Memphis Greek Festival

This two-day annual Greek Festival offers a unique opportunity to enjoy traditional food and marketplace items, as well as sanctuary tours, live Greek music and traditional Greek dancing. Free Greek dance lessons are available.

The World Championship Barbecue Contest is one of the most important BBQ festivals in the world. 2019 Zoo Brew

2019 Great American River Run Half Marathon & 5K

The Great American River Run Half Marathon & 5K will be held on May 25 as well. Sports enthusiasts will have the opportunity to run in either the 5K race or in the Half Marathon. Registrations cost $30+ per person for the 5K and $65+ per person for the Half Marathon.

2019 Memphis Italian Festival

This three-day annual Italian Festival offers a unique opportunity to enjoy traditional Italian food as well as drinks. There will be live entertainment.

Time: 4 p.m. – 11 p.m. (Friday) / 11 a.m. – 11 p.m. (Saturday and Sunday)
