MEMPHIS, TN (LPL) — ¿Quién no se acuerda del famoso tema “Heaven” que colocó a Los Lonely Boys entre los primeros lugares de la lista Billboard y hasta les llevó a ganar un premio Grammy? Pues, este dinámico grupo vendrá a Memphis a deleitar al público con su “música para el alma y de integración”, como ellos mismos la describen.

Viniendo de una familia dedicada a la música por generaciones, los tres hermanos Garza -Henry, Jojo y Ringo- se han propuesto, como “Los Lonely Boys”, llevar un mensaje positivo y de hermandad a través de sus canciones.

“Nuestra música es sobre temas serios (la vida, la muerte, el amor, el odio, la compasión, la luz, la oscuridad, la verdad, etc.). En este mundo hay muchas cosas por las que uno tiene razones para estar felices o tristes”, dijo Jojo en una entrevista con La Prensa Latina. “Primero que todo, el mensaje que damos a través de nuestra música y nuestros sentimientos es el de adorar a Dios, nuestro Padre en el Cielo; en segundo lugar, buscamos dar un mensaje de positivismo, esperanza y sentido común”, agregó el artista.

Precisamente, ese deseo de querer conectar con la gente es lo que ha permitido que Los Lonely Boys sigan cosechando éxitos tras éxitos a lo largo de su carrera artística. Su disco más reciente, “Revelation” (2014), es prueba absoluta de ello, guardando siempre su peculiar estilo de integración.

“Los Lonely Boys no tienen un estilo único que los distinga. Los Lonely Boys son la música misma, y la música no tiene estilos; los estilos fueron creados solamente para separar y la música que nosotros creamos es para integrar (a la gente), llegar al corazón y crear conciencia”, manifestó Jojo. “La música es un lenguaje universal”.

Well, this dynamic band will come to Memphis to delight the audience with their “music for the soul and to bring people together,” as they describe it themselves.

Coming from a family dedicated to music for generations, the three Garza brothers – Henry, Jojo and Ringo – have always looked, as “The Lonely Boys”, to send a positive and brotherly message through their songs.

“Our music is about the serious things (life, death, love, hate, compassion, light, darkness, truth, etc.). In this world there’s a lot that people can be happy about and a lot to be sad about,” said Jojo in an interview with La Prensa Latina. “First and foremost, our message with our music and our feelings is to praise our Father in Heaven; and secondly, is to definitely send a message of positiveness, hoping for common sense,” the artist added.

Precisely, it is that same desire to connect with people what has allowed Los Lonely Boys to be so successful. Their latest album, “Revelation” (2014), is an absolute proof of their peculiar style of integration.

“Los Lonely Boys’s style is no style. Los Lonely Boys are music, and there are no styles in music; styles are only created to separate and the music that we create is to integrate (people), hit the heart and hit the mind,” Jojo stated. “Music is a universal language.”
