MEMPHIS, TN (LPL) — El Dr. James R. Downing, el presidente ejecutivo del Hospital Infantil St. Jude anunció gran expansión para investigación.
Evaluada en 412 millones de dólares, en un área de 625.000 pies cuadrados, el nuevo edificio de investigación se terminará en 2021, continuará con la misión que “lucha para que ningún niño muera en los albores de su vida”.
Las firmas Crump y Jacobs Engineering estaran a cargo de la construcción del mismo.
“Estamos creando un entorno en el que científicos y médicos tendrán acceso inmediato a recursos y oportunidades de vanguardia para buscar avances con la esperanza de acelerar el progreso en el tratamiento y la curación de enfermedades pediátricas catastróficas”, así lo recalcó Dr. Downing durante el anuncio.
