Sports Desk, Aug 5 (EFE).- Manchester United on Saturday confirmed the signing of Danish striker Rasmus Hojlund from Serie A team Atalanta, for a fee that could rise to over 80 million euros.
Hojlund has signed a five year deal with an option for an extra year.
The 20-year-old Hojlund scored 27 goals in the 87 games he played in Italy, including 10 last season.
He has also scored six goals in six appearances since he made his debut for the Danish national team in September 2022.
“I am incredibly excited by this opportunity to turn a dream into a reality, and I am determined to repay the faith the club has shown in me,” he said, adding: “It’s still early in my career, but I know I am ready to make this step up and play with this group of world-class players.” EFE
