Mbappe: I want to write the history of the football

Sports Desk, Dec 27 (EFE).- Kylian Mbappe on Monday said he wants to “write the history of the football” as he won the Men’s player of the year at the Dubai Globe Soccer Awards.

“It is a big achievement for me. I want to say thank you to my club the Paris Saint-Germain who believed in me these five years,” he said as he received the prize, showing gratitude also to his family and collaborators.

“It is a big motivation to keep working hard and maybe come by next year to win again so many titles individually and collectively,” he added.

The French forward did not reveal whether he would continue at PSG or embark on a rumored move to Real Madrid, as he laid out his plans for the future during an interview that kicked off the gala.

Within four days, the 23-year-old will be a free player to negotiate his future, having not renewed his PSG contract.

“I just want to win and win again,” he said. “If you sleep someone will take your place.” EFE
