Messi, new global ambassador of ‘fan tokens’ company

Madrid, Mar 29 (EFE).- Paris Saint-Germain star Lionel Messi is the new global ambassador for, the ‘fan tokens’ company announced on Tuesday.

Messi will promote the use of the company’s virtual currencies, which is sold as a way for fans to participate in certain decisions made by their clubs. Such tokens are used by the likes of PSG andBarcelona.

“Fans deserve to be recognised for their support. They deserve opportunities to influence the teams they love,” the former Barcelona player said in a statement. “ exists to enhance the fan experience, to enable fans to ‘be more’.”

“I’m proud to join’s mission to create a more connected and rewarding future for fans around the world,” he added.
