Romanian man dies crashing car into Russian embassy in Bucharest

Bucharest, Apr 6 (EFE).- A man has died after crashing his car into the gate of the Russian embassy in Bucharest, Romanian police said Wednesday.

Romanian media named the man as Bogdan Draghici, who had recently been convicted of child abuse and sentenced 15 years in prison.

In his last Facebook post he shared a lengthy message calling for more reprisals against Russia for its invasion of Ukraine.

His car went up in flames when it hit the embassy gate, emergency services said.

Police are investigating the circumstances.EFE
