Midfielder Tchouaméni joins Real Madrid on 6-year deal
Madrid, Jun 11 (EFE).- Aurelien Tchouaméni has left Monaco to join Real Madrid, the LaLiga champions announced on Saturday.
“Real Madrid CF and AS Monaco have reached an agreement over the transfer of Aurélien Tchouaméni, who joins the club on a six-year deal,” the Uefa Champions League winners said in a statement.
Although Real Madrid did not reveal any financial details, French media report the Merengue have paid nearly 80 million euros for the 22-year-old.
The French defensive midfielder is set to be presented to the media on Tuesday, the statement added.
Tchouaméni signed for Monaco in 2020 on a transfer from FC Girondins de Bordeaux for 18 million euros. EFE
