National School Walkout at University of Memphis
MEMPHIS, TN (LPL) — La Alianza Progresista de la Universidad de Memphis realizará una huelga y un mitin en conjunto con el National School Walkout el miércoles, 14 de marzo, a las 10:00 a.m. El mitin tendrá lugar en la estatua del tigre frente al Centro Universitario. El objetivo de esta huelga es protestar contra la violencia armada y exigir que el Congreso adopte medidas legislativas sobre el control de armas a raíz del tiroteo en Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.

MEMPHIS, TN (LPL) — The University of Memphis Progressive Alliance is holding a walkout and rally in conjunction with the National School Walkout on Wednesday, March 14, at 10:00 a.m. The rally will take place at the tiger statue in front of the University Center. This walkout’s purpose is to protest gun violence and demand that Congress take legislative action on gun control in the wake of the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.
