ENGLISH:

Unity is the most valuable thing we represent as a culture. In Culture Philanthropy, we are devoted to sharing positive aspects about our heritage to promote economic development. Together we can function as a productive engine and give to our communities and home countries in ways that advocate for the right to live a dignifying life. The most effective way to donate together is by participating in crowdfunding campaigns. By each person donating even just a coin, the summative effort will accrue funds that will impact the welfare of thousands.

As responsible givers we often ask ourselves questions such as: How much should I give? How can I ensure that there is credibility to the cause I am supporting?

We can find clear answers in Hispanics in Philanthropy, the national nonprofit organization that best represents our philanthropy. In addition to certifying the campaigns they organize, they also open us doors to become philanthropic leaders in our communities. As we, the 55 million of Hispanics that live in the United States, develop a tradition to contribute as a unified culture, we will make our voice stronger and it will encourage the fair treatment of immigrants and their descendants. Each of us will become a key piece that, together with the numerous donors, will connect as a valuable network of philanthropists.

You can visit www.hipgive.com to start contributing to some of the campaigns already underway. The more Hispanics donate under this platform, the more support we will receive from large foundations and donors who are willing to multiply our contributions with matching funds. The power to improve the world through philanthropy is in our hands. There are many ways to contribute: we can give our time, talent or treasure and motivate millions to value our Hispanic heritage as an important asset, a gift to society.
