MEMPHIS, TN (WREG) — A police officer is going to be okay after a car accident in Parkway Village.

According to Memphis police, the officer was involved in a single car crash at Perkins and Cottonwood.

Emergency crews found the patrol car upside down and had to help the officer from the vehicle.

MPD said the officer was taken to the Regional Medical Center but should be okay.

It is not clear what led to the accident.
