Outstanding Hispanic Teachers and Students Spotlighted by Shelby County Schools

Shelby County Schools destaca a maestras y estudiantes hispanos sobresalientes

MEMPHIS, TN (LPL) — As is customary, Shelby County Schools undertook to nominate and highlight this year several Latino high school students for their outstanding academic performance. The same thing happened with the teaching staff during Teacher Appreciation Week (May 4-8).

On this occasion, nine brilliant high school graduates were chosen and encouraged to continue with their college education, so that in the future they can be great professionals. In the case of the teachers, six of them were honored not only for their excellent work as educators, but for being an example to society in general.

MEMPHIS, TN (LPL) — Como ya es costumbre, las Escuelas del Condado de Shelby se dieron a la tarea de nominar y destacar este año a varios estudiantes latinos de bachillerato por su gran desempeño académico. Lo mismo pasó con el personal docente durante la Semana de Apreciación al Maestro (del 4 al 8 de mayo).

En esta ocasión, nueve bachilleres brillantes fueron seleccionados y animados a continuar con su educación superior, de modo que en el futuro sean grandes profesionales. En el caso de las maestras, seis de ellas fueron honradas no sólo por su excelente labor como educadoras, sino por ser un ejemplo para la sociedad en general.

A continuación, La Prensa Latina presenta con mucho orgullo a los afortunados nominados del año escolar 2019-2020. ¡Muchas felicidades a todos!
