Penultimate Sanfermines bull run in Spain concludes with no gorings

Pamplona, Spain, Jul 13 (EFE).- The penultimate running of the bulls at Spain’s iconic Sanfermines festival wrapped up Wednesday with no gorings.

The bulls from the Victoriano del Rio ranch in Madrid took two minutes and 14 seconds to complete the run through the streets of Pamplona, in northern Spain, to the bullring where they will later be killed by bullfighters.

Local emergency services said six people were injured during the run, but none were gored by the bulls.

The Sanfermines festival, made famous to the English speaking world by Ernest Hemingway in his novel The Sun Also Rises, comes to a close Thursday after days of revelry. EFE
