Person Dead After Getting Shot By Shelby County Deputies

SHELBY COUNTY, TN (ABC 24 News) — Deputies with the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) shot and killed a person in northeast Shelby County.
The incident happened at New Allen Road and Victory Ridge Cove. The person shot was a suspect, SCSO said.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is conducting the investigation.
SCSO is asking drivers to use Old Allen Road as an alternative route.
