Police search headquarters of Paris 2024 Olympic organizers

Paris, June 20 (EFE).- Police launched a search of the headquarters of the Organizing Committee for the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the body announced on Tuesday.
“A search is currently underway at the headquarters of the organizing committee,” the Committee said in a statement.
“Paris 2024 is cooperating fully with the investigators to facilitate their inquiries,” it added.
The search was conducted by the central office for the fight against corruption and financial and tax crimes (OCLCIFF)) and the financial brigade of the Parisian police, local newspaper L’Equipe reported.
The raid comes on the same day that public broadcaster France Info reported that undocumented workers had sued several large construction companies building infrastructure for the Games for making them work overtime and without a contract, among other alleged irregularities. EFE
