The hazard warning lights may not function

PhotoPorsche Cars North America is recalling 1,928 model year 2020 911 Carrera S Coupes, Cabrios, Coupes, 4 Coupes, 4S Coupes, 4 Cabrios, 4S Cabriosand S Cabrios.

Due to a software error, the hazard warning lights may not function may when activated by an operator.

If the hazard warning lights cannot be activated, there is an increased risk of a crash in a hazard situation.

What to do

Porsche will notify owners, and dealers will reprogram the control unit free of charge.

The recall is expected to begin February 9, 2020.
