5th Annual Memphis Cup of Nations
MEMPHIS, TN (MCN/LPL) — Este año se llevará a cabo la Quinta Copa Anual de Naciones de Memphis, creada para aprovechar la pasión universal por el deporte, conectar a las naciones y construir una comunidad. Dieciséis equipos que representan a 16 naciones diferentes, y que viven en Memphis, competirán en un torneo de fútbol de un día para determinar lo mejor que hay en Memphis para celebrar, reconocer y honrar una parte de nuestra comunidad que a menudo no se toma en cuenta.
El alcalde de Memphis, Jim Strickland, y el alcalde del Condado de Shelby, Mark H. MEMPHIS, TN (MCN) — This year will take place the 5th Annual Memphis Cup of Nations, created to seize the universal passion for sport, connect the nations and build community. Sixteen teams representing 16 different nations, all who make Memphis home, will compete in a day-long soccer tournament to determine the best in Memphis to celebrate, recognize and honor an often overlooked part of our community.
Memphis Mayor Jim Strickland and Shelby County Mayor Mark H. Luttrell, Jr., along with Christ United Methodist Church, Barnhart Crane, Christian Brothers University, and Kyle Rote Jr. are honored to host the fifth annual Memphis Cup of Nations and Family Festival in Memphis, TN to celebrate a diverse international community.
Nations come together every four years to compete in the World Cup of Soccer. Memphis is an international city with many different nationalities represented. Through the annual Memphis Cup of Nations, our internationals can come together and join with the community to build relationships and lasting friendships.
Memphis joins St. Louis, Houston, Atlanta, and Boston in bringing international tournament to our community.
The tournament will take place Saturday, April 28, 8 AM at Christian Brothers University.
