Barcelona, Spain, Jul 13 (EFE).- FC Barcelona and Leeds United have reached an agreement ‘in principle’ for the transfer of Brazilian winger Raphinha to the Catalan club, pending a medical.
Barça confirmed the move in a statement Wednesday after weeks of reports suggesting the player was headed to the Camp Nou.
The winger, who last year scored 11 goals to help Leeds narrowly escape relegation, is the third Barça signing ahead of the 2022-23 season after Dane Andreas Chistensen and Ivorian Franck Kessié.
Raphinha joined Leeds from Rennes in 2020, and scored six goals in 30 appearances in his first Premier League season.
He has three career goals for the Brazil national team. EFE
