Real Madrid’s social media accounts hacked

Madrid, Mar 16 (EFE).- Real Madrid’s social media accounts were hacked Tuesday and used to publish a false statement announcing that Brazilian winger Rodrygo had suffered an injury just hours before the Spanish giants host Atalanta in the second-leg of a Champions League last-16 tie, the club told Efe.
The club removed the false statements and said the 20-year-old was match fit.
Dani Carvajal, Álvaro Odriozola, Eden Hazard and Mariano Días will remain sidelined for the game due to injury, however, while Casemiro will not be eligible due to an accumulation of yellow cards.
Hazard was the latest to drop from the team sheet list as he sustained yet another injury after playing 15 minutes against Elche a few days ago in his first appearance after recovering from a thigh muscle issue that kept him out of action for six weeks.
“Following tests carried out today on our player, Eden Hazard, by the Real Madrid Medical Services, he has been diagnosed with a muscle injury in the right psoas. His recovery will continue to be assessed,” the club said in a statement said on Monday.
Real Madrid’s hopes to build on their 1-0 first leg advantage will fall on the shoulders of French forward Karim Benzema, who salvaged his team in his two league appearances after recovering from an injury. EFE-EPA
