MLGW Volunteers will Deliver Energy Kits in Honor of MLK Day
Voluntarios de MLGW entregarán estuches de ahorro de energía en honor al Día de MLK
MEMPHIS, TN (MLGW) — Memphis Light, Gas and Water will partner with Leadership Memphis and First Baptist Church-Broad for its annual Martin Luther King Day of Service on Friday, January 13, 2023.
Volunteers will work in small groups, delivering free small energy kits in the Binghampton community from 9 -11:30 a.m. Volunteers will meet at First Baptist Church in the Family Life Center, located at 2835 Broad Avenue.
MLGW will also offer a free EnergySmart Workshop on January 13, 2023, from 10 – 11 a.m. in the Family Life Center. This free
workshop is available to all customers and will provide energy efficiency tips. Workshop participants will receive a free large
energy kit.
The Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service is one of several community outreach events that MLGW employees participate in
annually.
