Adama joins group training ahead of Espanyol’s clash

Barcelona, Feb 12 (EFE).- Barcelona’s Adama Traore on Saturday resumed team training a day after missing the group work ahead of the Espanyol LaLiga clash.

The Spaniard, who excelled in Barca’s 4-2 win over Atletico Madrid, will be available for coach Xavi Hernandez in the derby scheduled for Sunday.

Defender Éric Garcia is expected to be ready for the game, having trained with his teammates this week after recovering from a right hamstring injury despite not having received medical clearance.

Memphis Depay, Clement Lenglet, Sergi Roberto, Samuel Umtiti and Ansu Fati will remain on the sidelines with injuries, as well as Dani Alves, who is serving a two-match suspension after being sent off against Atletico.

Barcelona hope to build on one of the team’s best performances, of what has been a miserable season, against holders Atletico which saw the Catalans return to the top four and the Champions League qualification slots. EFE
