Vettel to miss Saudi Grand Prix with Covid, Hulkenberg sits in

Madrid, Mar 25 (EFE).- Sebastian Vettel will miss his second Formula One race of the year due to Covid-19 after Aston Martin ruled him out of this weekend’s Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.

Nico Hulkenberg will sit in for Vettel alongside Lance Stroll, as he did for the season’s opener in Bahrain last week.

It will be Hulkenberg’s first outing on the Jeddah Corniche Circuit after a tough race in Sakhir, where neither he nor Stroll managed to bag points.

The free practice sessions get underway in Jeddah on Friday, with qualifying slated for Saturday before the race on Sunday. EFE
