Lviv, Ukraine, Mar 15 (EFE).- The death toll from a Russian missile strike on a television tower in the city of Rivne, in northwestern Ukraine, has risen to at least 19, Ukraine’s state media said Tuesday.

“The rubble is still clearing away, and as of 08:30 this morning we have 19 people killed and 9 injured,” the head of the Military Administration of Rivne, Vitaliy Koval, said in a statement on Telegram.

Koval added that the number of victims could rise as debris is removed throughout the day.

On Monday two Russian missiles hit the Rivne television tower and an adjoining administrative building, according to Ukrainian state media. EFE
