Sebastien Haller’s testicular tumor is malignant, says Dortmund
Berlin, Jul 30 (EFE).- Sebastien Haller’s testicular tumor is malignant and will require chemotherapy, Borussia Dortmund announced on Saturday.
“Sebastien will now receive the best possible treatment,” BVB sporting director Sebastian Kehl said in a statement. “The chances of recovery are very good.”
“We wish him and his family a lot of strength and optimism and our thoughts are with him during this difficult time,” he added.
The club said they would not reveal further details about the 28-year-old player’s treatment, which will keep him on the sidelines for “several months.”
The Bundesliga club are reportedly on the hunt for a replacement for the Ivorian player, who had to leave his new club’s pre-season camp in Switzerland when the tumor was detected in medical tests. EFE
