Local Bike Share Service Says Bikes ‘Not Being Returned On Time’
MEMPHIS, TN (LPL/FOX 13) — Un servicio local de bicicletas compartidas se enfrenta al escrutinio debido a que las bicicletas no se están devolviendo a tiempo.
Explore Bike Share admitió en un comunicado que ha habido “algunos casos en que las bicicletas no han sido devueltas a tiempo”. Sin embargo, el servicio dijo que no es un problema importante.

El servicio tiene más de 600 bicicletas entre 60 estaciones diferentes.
“Las ves en ciudades más grandes como Nueva York, pero es algo nuevo para nosotros”, dijo Zoya Evans, una potencial ciclista.
La policía de Memphis no ha confirmado si las bicicletas que se vieron en el video del teléfono celular fueron robadas o no.
Evans dijo que incluso si los ladrones están, o están considerando, robar a las bicicletas, se debería tener más cámaras de vigilancia para evitar que ocurra.

Explore Bike Share admitted in a statement to FOX13 that there have been “some cases where bikes have not been returned on time.” However, the service said it is not a major issue.
Questions came after video was sent in to FOX13 that alleged several bikes were stolen from an Explore Bike Share stand in Midtown.
The service has over 600 bikes between 60 different stations.
“You see them in bigger cities like New York, but it’s something new for us,” said Zoya Evans, a potential rider.
Memphis police have not confirmed whether or not the bikes seen in the cellphone video were stolen.
Evans said even if crooks are, or are considering targeting the bikes, more cameras should be present to prevent it from happening.
