Two late goals for Barcelona as Cadiz beaten

Barcelona, Spain, Aug 20 (EFE).- Barcelona scored two late goals to defeat Cadiz 2-0 Sunday night at the Lluís Companys Olympic Stadium.

Barça looked set to be held to a second consecutive goalless draw until new signing Ilkay Gundogan slipped in Pedri who stretched out his left boot to poke the ball in after 82 minutes.

It was no more than the home team deserved having dominated possession throughout.

The Blaugrana doubled their lead in stoppage time when Ferran Torres raced onto Robert Lewandowski’s flick to calmly slot past Cadiz goalkeeper Jeremias Ledesma. EFE
