Spanish royals conclude state visit to Germany

Frankfurt, Germany, Oct 19 (EFE).- The King and Queen of Spain ended their three-day state visit to Germany on Wednesday with a visit to the Frankfurt Book Fair and a meeting with the heads of the European Central Bank.

Spain is this year’s guest country to the book fair, the world’s largest.

Felipe VI and Letizia’s trip also saw the Queen visiting the headquarters of the Cervantes Institute in Frankfurt.

The King and Queen arrived Tuesday in Frankfurt to inaugurate the Book Fair, after holding meetings in Berlin with the German President, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, with the Federal Chancellor, Olaf Scholz. EFE
