Dos cuentos sobre colores, realidad y fantasía

“La merienda del señor Verde” de Javier Sáez Castán (Ediciones Ekaré) y “Rojo y Azul” de Mireya Tabuas (Camelia Ediciones) son dos magníficos libros para niños. Tienen en común que las historias están relacionadas con el color.

la merienda del señor verde_saez castanEn “La merienda…”, destacan las maravillosas ilustraciones en un libro de gran formato. Es ideal para leerlo en voz alta con los niños y también puede ser disfrutado a solas por los niños que ya leen. En este texto, acciones y personajes pertenecen al mundo de la fantasía. El mensaje es hermoso y en las páginas finales hay dos secciones informativas muy atractivas e interesantes. Javier Sáez Castán es un autor e ilustrador español que recibió el Premio Nacional de Ilustración 2016.

El narrador de “Rojo y Azul” es un niño, quien nos cuenta con pocas palabras y excelentes ilustraciones el conflicto que existe entre sus padres, vecinos y conocidos por preferir un color o el otro. El niño asume una posición diferente y deja a los lectores la decisión final. Es un libro para pensar y conversar con los niños. Se trata, sin duda alguna, de un libro más realista, pero igualmente bello y con un diseño muy atractivo para grandes y chicos.

Two stories about colors, reality and fantasy

“La merienda del señor Verde” by Javier Saez Castán (Ediciones Ekaré) and “Rojo y Azul” by Mireya Tabuas (Camelia Ediciones) are two great books for children. What they have in common is that both stories are related to color.

In “La merienda…,” the author highlights the wonderful illustrations in a book of great format. It is ideal for reading aloud with children and can also be enjoyed by children who already read alone. In this text, actions and characters belong to the world of fantasy. The message is beautiful and in the final pages there are two very attractive and interesting informative sections. Javier Sáez Castán is an author and illustrator who received the Spanish National Illustration Award 2016.

The narrator in “Rojo y Azul” is a boy, who tells us with few words and great illustrations the conflict between his parents, neighbors and acquaintances for choosing a color or the other. The child takes a different position and leaves the final decision to the readers. It is a book that makes you think and converse with children. It is without a doubt more realistic, but equally beautiful and with a very attractive design for young and adult readers.
