The shooting occurred shortly before midnight on Saturday and a suspect has been arrested and was being treated for injuries, officer Pamela Castro told a press conference.

In a statement, Club Q, which describes itself as an “adult-oriented gay and lesbian nightclub hosting theme nights such as karaoke, drag shows & DJs,” said it was “devastated by the senseless attack on our community.”
