Isco reaches agreement in principle to join Sevilla

Seville, Spain, Aug 7 (EFE).- Isco Alarcon agreed to join Sevilla after his Real Madrid contract expired this summer, the Andalusian club announced on Sunday.

“We have reached an agreement in principle with Isco for the Andalusian midfielder to become our third signing of the window,” Sevilla said in a statement.

The 30-year-old is expected to sign a two-year contract with Sevilla on Monday once he passes the medical checks, LaLiga club added.

Isco made his professional debut at Valencia in the 2010-2011 season, before joining Malaga for two seasons.

In 2013, he joined Real Madrid in a nine-year, title-laden spell that saw him hoist 19 trophies, including five Champions Leagues and four FIFA Club World Cups among others. EFE
