Malco presenta: Festival de Cine Infantil en el Verano 2019

2019 Kids Summer Film Festival

MEMPHIS, TN (LPL) — Hace apenas unos días, Malco reveló la lista de películas animadas que formarán parte de su próximo “Festival de Cine Infantil durante el Verano” (Malco’s Kids Summer Film Fest), mismo que se llevará a cabo del 4 de junio al 31 de julio del 2019.

Esta vez, las grandes producciones cinematográficas que se estarán presentando son:

¤ Despicable Me (4 y 5 de junio)

¤ Minions (11 y 12 de junio)

¤ The Secret Life of Pets (18 y 19 de junio)

¤ Sing (25 y 26 de junio)

¤ Dr. Seuss’ The Cat in the Hat (2 y 3 de julio)

¤ Trolls (9 y 10 de julio)

¤ Puss in Boots (16 y 17 de julio)

¤ Shrek (23 y 24 de julio)

¤ Captain Underpants, The First Epic Movie (30 y 31 de julio)

Cada película estará en cartelera por dos días a la semana (martes y miércoles), con una función a las 10 AM. El valor de las entradas es de $2 por persona. Debido a que éste es un evento muy especial, las entradas se venden individualmente y no se pueden combinar con el paquete para fiestas del cine.

Creado hace 20 años, aproximadamente, el “Festival de Cine Infantil de Malco durante el Verano” no sólo tiene como fin entretener a la comunidad, sino que busca retribuir con algo en forma de gratitud. Por lo mismo, cada año que pasa Malco logra recaudar, a través de este evento, una generosa cantidad de dinero para ciertos hospitales infantiles del Medio Sur.

En esta ocasión, los hospitales que se verán beneficiados son: LeBonheur Children’s Hospital (Memphis, TN), Arkansas Children’s Hospital (Little Rock, AR), Norton Children’s Hospital (Owensboro, KY), Monroe E. Carroll Children’s Hospital (Vanderbilt), Batson Children’s Hospital (Jackson, MS) y el Children’s Hospital en New Orleans, LA.

 

Las salas de cine (en el Medio Sur) en donde se podrán ver las películas del festival son:

o   Tennessee (Memphis y ciudades cercanas) – Paradiso Cinema Grill, Collierville Cinema Grill, Forest Hill Cinema Grill, Stage Cinema Grill, Smyrna Cinema

o   Mississippi – DeSoto Cinema Grill (Southaven), Olive Branch Cinema Grill, Oxford Commons Cinema Grill, Tupelo Commons Cinema Grill, Corinth Cinema, Columbus Cinema, Grandview Cinema (Madison/Jackson)

o   Arkansas – Monticello Cinema (Monticello/Sureste de Arkansas), Jonesboro Cinema, Pinnacle Hills Cinema (Rogers), Razorback Cinema Grill (Fayetteville), Springdale Cinema Grill, Van Buren Cinema (Van Buren/Fort Smith)

MEMPHIS, TN (LPL) — Just a few days ago, Malco revealed the list of animated movies that will be part of its upcoming “Kids Summer Film Fest,” which will take place from June 4 to July 31, 2019.

This time, the high grossing films that will be featured are:

¤ Despicable Me (June 4 & 5)

¤ Minions (June 11 & 12)

¤ The Secret Life of Pets (June 18 & 19)

¤ Sing (June 25 & 26)

¤ Dr. Seuss’ The Cat in the Hat (July 2 & 3)

¤ Trolls (July 9 & 10)

¤ Puss in Boots (July 16 & 17)

¤ Shrek (July 23 & 24)

¤ Captain Underpants, The First Epic Movie (July 30 & 31)

Each film will be in theatres for two days a week (Tuesday and Wednesday), with shows beginning at 10 AM. Tickets are $2 per person. Since this is a very special event, tickets are sold individually and cannot be combined with Malco’s party packages.

Created approximately 20 years ago, the “Malco’s Annual Kids Summer Film Fest” not only aims to entertain but seeks to give back to the community as a form of gratitude. Therefore, each year Malco raises funds, through this event, for certain children’s hospitals in the Mid-South. On this occasion, the hospitals that will be benefited are: LeBonheur Children’s Hospital (Memphis, TN), Arkansas Children’s Hospital (Little Rock, AR), Norton Children’s Hospital (Owensboro, KY), Monroe E. Carroll Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, Batson Children’s Hospital (Jackson, MS) and Children’s Hospital in New Orleans, LA.
