Chinese forex reserves at lowest since March 2020
Beijing, Jul 7 (EFE).- The State Administration of Foreign Exchange (SAFE) of the People’s Republic of China announced Thursday that China’s foreign exchange reserves fell to $3.07127 trillion in June, the lowest since March 2020.
The drop in China’s forex reserves from May was $56.51 billion or 1.8 percent, the institution said in a statement.
Thus, foreign exchange reserves in the Asian country are again experiencing a decline after May, which was the first month it recorded a drop since December last year. EFE
