Reported Shooting Shuts Down Highway 385 at Winchester
MEMPHIS, TN (LPL/WREG) — Una parte de la autopista 385 está cerrada el martes mientras la policía de Memphis investiga un tiroteo en la carretera.
MPD cerró la autopista 385 en dirección Oeste en Winchester. No se sabe cuándo se volverá a abrir la carretera. La autopista hacia el este 385 no se ve afectada.
La policía de Memphis dijo que un conductor informó que alguien disparó a su vehículo en la carretera justo antes de la 1 p.m., pero el conductor no resultó herido.
La policía dijo que el vehículo sospechoso es posiblemente un vehículo tipo SUV plateado.
No se han realizado arrestos, y esta investigación está en curso.
Este es al menos el tercer tiroteo interestatal o en autopistas en Memphis en 2020, después de 46 tiroteos en autopistas e interestatales en la ciudad en 2019.

MEMPHIS, TN (WREG) — A portion of Highway 385 is closed Tuesday while Memphis Police investigate a reported shooting on the roadway.
MPD has westbound Highway 385 at Winchester closed. It is not known when the roadway will reopen. Eastbound Highway 385 is not affected.
Memphis Police said a driver reported someone shot at his vehicle on the roadway just before 1 p.m., but the driver was not injured.
Police said the suspect vehicle is possibly a silver SUV.
No arrests have been made, and this investigation is ongoing.
This is at least the third reported interstate or highway shooting in Memphis in 2020, after 46 reported shootings on highways and interstates in the city in 2019.
