Girl Hit by Bus Early Monday Morning, MSCS Investigating

MEMPHIS, TN (FOX 13) — A child was hit by a bus in the early morning hours on Monday.
Memphis Fire responded to an accident just before 7 a.m. in the 5100 block of Valdaz Road.
According to officials, the child was taken to Le Bonheur in critical condition after allegedly running toward a school bus when she was struck.
The child, believed to be 11-years-old, has been downgraded to non-critical condition.
According to police, the bus driver did not realize that the child had been hit and kept driving, but was later stopped and advised of the crash.
The incident is still under investigation.

El Departamento de Bomberos de Memphis respondió al accidente justo antes de las 7 a. m. en el domicilio 5100 de Valdaz Road.
Según las autoridades, la niña fue llevada a Le Bonheur en estado crítico luego de que supuestamente corriera hacia un autobús escolar cuando fue golpeada.
La niña, se cree que tiene 11 años, ha sido cambiada a una condición no crítica.
Según la policía, el conductor del autobús no se dio cuenta de que la niña había sido golpeada y siguió conduciendo, pero luego lo detuvieron y le informaron del accidente.
El incidente aún está bajo investigación.
