Promising Brazilian talent Endrick agrees to join Real Madrid from 2024

Madrid, Dec 15 (EFE).- Young Brazilian talent Endrick is set to join Real Madrid from 2024 after the reigning Spanish and European champions landed a deal with his current club Palmeiras.

The 16-year-old striker, who has been heavily linked with a move to the Spanish capital, will join his new club when he turns 18.

In the meantime, Endrick is set to remain at Palmeiras, Real Madrid said in a statement Thursday.

Sao Paulo-based Palmeiras club president Leila Pereira described the deal as the biggest in the history of Brazilian football.

While neither club published the transfer fee, some media reports suggested a price tag of around 60 million euros.

“Real Madrid’s offer matches the Endrick’s enormous talent and meets the sporting and financial objectives we established at the beginning of the negotiations,” Pereria added.

Endrick, accompanied by his family, said: “I thank Palmeiras, the greatest champion of Brazil, champion of the Americas and the world, the club of my heart, for offering me everything necessary to become what I am today.”

The promising player follows in the footsteps of fellow Brazilians Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo. EFE
