Community Dinner at Caritas Village
MEMPHIS, TN (LPL) — Bajo nueva administración y con un edificio completamente renovado, Caritas Village estará ofreciendo una cena comunitaria el jueves, 13 de diciembre, de 5:30 PM a 7:30 PM.
Además de ofrecer la cena con espagueti al público, Caritas Village tendrá disponible proyectos de arte infantil y música navideña en vivo. La Compassion Neighborhood Clinic también estará ofreciendo vacunas gratis contra la gripe.
El nuevo director, Mac Edwards, dará la bienvenida al vecindario en la junta comunitaria que se llevará a cabo junto a las celebraciones.
Caritas Village funciona como un centro comunitario y como restaurante para los más necesitados.
El plan de Edwards es obtener alimentos para el restaurante de los jardines comunitarios y establecer relaciones con otros jardines urbanos también. Si bien no realizará las operaciones diarias del restaurante, como director ejecutivo planea establecer un menú similar al de The Farmer, el restaurante que Edwards cerró en el año 2017, después de seis años de operaciones.

MEMPHIS, TN (LPL) — Under new administration and with a completely renovated building, Caritas Village will be offering a community dinner on Thursday, December 13, from 5:30 PM to 7: 30 PM.
In addition to offering dinner with spaghetti to the public, children’s art projects, and live Christmas music, Caritas Village will have Compassion Neighborhood Clinic, who will offer free flu shots.
New director Mac Edwards will welcome the neighborhood community board that will be held next to the celebrations.
Caritas Village works as a community center and as a restaurant for the needy.
Edwards plans to get food for the restaurant from the community gardens and to establish relationships with other urban gardens as well. While he won’t run the daily operations of the restaurant, as executive director he plans to establish a menu similar to the one at The Farmer, Edwards’ restaurant that closed in 2017 after six years of operations.
