Teen Dead After Car Hits Pole on Shelby Drive

MEMPHIS, TN (WREG) — A teenage boy is dead, and a man is injured after a fatal car crash in Southeast Memphis.
Memphis Police say at 2:30 p.m. they responded to a crash in the 4600 block of Shelby Drive where an SUV overturned and hit a pole.
Both people were taken to the hospital in critical condition. The teen was later pronounced dead.
MPD says to seek alternative routes while officers investigate the scene.

MEMPHIS, TN (LPL/WREG) — Un adolescente murió y un hombre resultó herido después de un accidente automovilístico fatal en el sureste de Memphis.
La policía de Memphis dice que a las 2:30 p.m. Respondieron a un accidente en la cuadra 4600 de Shelby Drive donde una camioneta se volcó y chocó contra un poste.
Ambas personas fueron trasladadas al hospital en estado crítico. Posteriormente, el adolescente fue declarado muerto.
