The Benefits of Aloe Vera

Los beneficios del aloe vera

Por/By Yamile Iskeif

Aloe vera is a plant that we must have in our home, not only because it can be decorative, but also because of all the great properties it possesses.

Aloe vera is rich in folic acid and antioxidants such as vitamins A, C, E and B12. Furthermore, it has enzymes and minerals that make its use even more beneficial. In addition to being a beauty ally, it is used as a medicinal plant.

Here are some of the benefits of including aloe vera in your beauty routine:

– It improves dry skin significantly as it is a powerful moisturizer.

– It improves acne since it is a natural anti-inflammatory.

– It improves the appearance of skin damaged by sunlight as it is an antiseptic that helps to disinfect and regenerate the skin.

– It repairs cracked lips caused by dryness, as it is an excellent moisturizer.

– It delays premature aging due to its antioxidants.

– It restores and moisturizes hair.

For these and for many other reasons, we have to include aloe vera into our beauty routine.

You can prepare your own natural homemade masks by cutting the leaves yourself or you can look for products that contain aloe vera. I personally prefer the natural way; it takes a little more work to do the process of cutting the plant, but it is also more effective.
