Thousands gather for the Kumbh religious fair

Thousands of pilgrims gather to take a dip in the holy river of Ganga (Ganges) to mark the Kumbh religious fair. These fairs take place once every 12 years at each of these four locations: Prayag (Allahabad) and Haridwar along the Ganga, Ujjain along the river Kshipra and Nashik along the river Godavari.
