MEMPHIS, TN (LPL) — Keedran Franklin, activista de distintas organizaciones de justicia social, estuvo presente en una de las manifestaciones que sucedieron alrededor del 50º aniversario de la histórica marcha que realizaron los trabajadores sanitarios de la ciudad, que sería uno de los eventos más importantes en la historia moderna de los EE.UU.

Cientos marcharon en la misma ruta que los trabajadores de saneamiento desde Clayborn Temple hasta el Ayuntamiento de la ciudad.

Keedran y otros líderes organizaron eventos como los ocurridos en las afueras de los restaurantes de comida rápida McDonald’s, donde los empleados se salieron del trabajo para exigir aumento de sueldos, con la campaña “Fight for 15”.
