MEMPHIS, TN (FOX 13) — COVID-19 has disrupted a lot of things this year, but it’s not putting a damper on the giving spirit for two local non-profits.
Volunteer Memphis and the Mid-South Food Bank partnered up to had out 20,000 free masks throughout December.
The mask will be handed out at nine different Mid-South locations between December 5 and December 22.
The locations are as follows:
December 15 beginning at 9 a.m., masks will be handed out at River of Life at 220 Beaver Road in Munford, TN.
December 16 at 10 a.m., masks will again be handed out in Memphis at Westwood Youth Development on 620 Parkrose Ave, Memphis, TN.
Also on December 16 in DeSoto County at 10 a.m., masks will be available at Hurts Chapel on 10998 Highway 178 in Olive Branch, MS.
December 19 at 9 a.m. and 9:30 a.m., respectively, you can pick up free masks at Iglesia Nueva Vida at 4945 Winchester Road, Memphis, TN and Washington Chapel CME Church at 68 East Mitchell Road in Memphis, TN.
Then, at 10 a.m. on December 19, New Mt Zion at 13510 North Main in Somerville, TN will begin handing out masks.
The push to hand out 20,000 masks wraps up with a giveaway on December 22 at Lagoshen, 490 Lagoshen Drive in Moscow, TN, starting at 10 a.m.
