MEMPHIS, TN (LPL/WMC) — Después de 33 años en el negocio, Montesi´s Grocery está cerrando.
La tienda localizada en la avenida Summer cerrará pronto sus puertas, pero aún no hay una fecha oficial de cierre.
Todo en la tienda tiene un 40 por ciento de descuento.
Los propietarios de las tiendas dijeron que extrañarán las amistades que han hecho a lo largo de los años y agradecieron a sus clientes por el apoyo.
Los clientes antiguos dicen que la tienda se perderá mucho cuando las puertas se cierren por última vez.
“Las personas que viven aquí porque no tenían a dónde ir”, dijo Mery Gibson, una compradora de toda la vida. “Puedes caminar aquí, comprar tus comestibles, llevar la cesta a casa, traerla de vuelta.

Store owners said they’ll miss the friendships they’ve made over the years and thanked their customers for the support.
Longtime customers say the store will be greatly missed when the doors close for the last time.
“The people that live around here because they didn’t have anywhere else to go,” said longtime shopper Mery Gibson. “You can walk here, get your groceries, carry the basket home, bring it back.
The owners say they will stay open until everything inside is gone, which will likely be the end of October.
