US State Secretary Blinken arrives in Kyiv: Ukraine media

Kyiv, Sep 6 (EFE).- United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken arrived in Kyiv on Wednesday on an official visit, according to Ukrainian media reports.

“US Secretary of State @SecBlinken has arrived in Kyiv on a visit, sources in the @APUkraine confirmed to Suspilne,” the state backed Suspline network said on X, formerly known as Twitter.

The news broadcaster cited sources from Ukraine’s presidential office.

Blinken’s arrival comes hours after Ukrainian forces repelled a Russian missile attack over Kyiv.

It is the third visit by the US Secretary of State since the start of Russia’s invasion on February 24, 2022.

Blinken previously visited the Ukrainian capital in April and September last year. EFE
